I have never been a fan of WordPress.....
mostly because I don't find it very user friendly and its very easy to get stuck on something, and you have no one to turn to for help. Except forums. And I dislike forums! And I am the kind of person that is not tech savvy and want to be able to call someone for help and get my questions resolved promptly.
I found that most of the documentation out there is written by programmers for programmers. No one takes into consideration, most new bloggers need to be held by the hand. And let me tell you, if someone can hold your hand and walk you thru the steps, YOU CAN SAVE SO MUCH TIME, than trying to figure it out and learn it on your own!

It is always important to have a hand-on application on blogging right away and get use to it day by day. Otherwise your one-day learning would only mean nothing. It may only take one day to learn but it may take 60 days to cultivate it and make it a part of your system. Then you will be a pro.
