is a creative innovator, artist and writer.

She has been profiled on television, radio
and in print about the company's new media and game
projects, including an in-depth interview on the
CTV show “Innovating Tomorrow”.

The other day when I was chatting with our new Canadian blogging buddy Franke James, (of James Gang, Office Politics, and   FrankeJames.com   fame), she told us about Spring Widgets and I ran a small little item about  them.

Yesterday, she sent me great link to her site, explaining her views on the widgets and Nine Ways to Widget Wisdom! You should read the whole post she did, but to summarize she says,

"Widgets are so omnipresent these days, I thought everyone knew about these nifty little gizmos that are springing up willy-nilly all over the web. So, I was taken aback recently by a savvy financial journalist who had no idea what they were, or what to do. I took her to the front of our James Gang site and showed her our lineup of 4 widgets showcasing creative content that we develop. She was very hesitant to touch them, but I told her they wouldn’t bite — Go ahead and scroll the tiny sidebar to read the content, or click on the body of them to go to the site! She had never noticed widgets, and really didn’t understand why I was so excited about them. Well, that opened the door for me to spout off on all the wonders of widgets and how she could use them on her financial blog to spread the word and give millions of people easy access to her content…

Let me share with you my Nine Ways to Widget Wisdom: And why you should get wise to them!"

1. Widgets make Content Portable
2. Widgets are Free Advertising
3. Widgets help people Embrace your Brand
4. Widgets are a Window
5. Widgets come in All Sizes
6. Widgets have No Red Tape
7. Widgets are Easy to Build
8. Widgets are the Next Wave
9. Now, you are Widget Wise. Have fun!

That's a brief overview - but stop by her site for the full scoop! And they are super-easy to do - so she claims!

Franke claims you can whip one of these out  in 5 minutes - so later today, we're  going to  create some widgets! Check back tomorrow for my progress!
