The big buzz in Chicago over the last 30 days has been about the upcoming SOBCon 07 bloggers conference! It's almost here - next weekend, May 11-12. We've been talking about it for weeks and I think everyone is really, really excited about this event!

 

LIZ STRAUSS of Successful and Outstanding Bloggers has started a game of BLOGGY TAG! It's an Internet version of the children's game! And the topic is the SOBCon 07 conference.




You start with a fill in the blank phrase. I chose 

"One reason to go to SOBCon is..."


The whole concept of the conference is taking your blog to the next level. This is different from any other conference on blogging. IT is put on by people who are passionate about blogging and will be attended by people passionate about blogging! - I was at a conference last week, and I won't say which one. But it was held here in Chicago, and I would guess about half of the 200 people in attendance, we're not really there to learn or grow. Some companies sent employees on their behalf, and those people really didn't take it seriously. I really didn't observe a lot of networking going on. - The SOBCon 07 I am sure, will be a networking and learning experience for those of us that really want to grow in the blogosphere! So for me, the one reason to go, is to learn and grow and network. OK, so  guess I have more than one reason! But you know what I mean!
