Magnify.net - The Next YouTube?

Today I was over at MARSHABLE, which is a great Social Networking Blog site.
And they had an interesting artcle on Magnify. Magnify is  essentially a quick way to build your own YouTube.

Users can set up a site like amazingcheesevideos.magnify.net and instantly create a niche video site. You can also choose from templates or add your own css. Users can upload clips to these sites and you have a control panel to manage them. You create your own channel. Add a video channel to your existing website, blog or start a site from scratch.

MARSHABLE says, "I  get the sense (although I may be wrong) that Magnify is aiming for the long tail of the market: while other video platform providers seek partnerships behind closed doors, Magnify is open to all comers. That’s not to say they’re not pursuing higher profile clients, though: weather.com has a video section powered by Magnify."

This will be an interesting site to watch. As of Feb 13th, they had 2400 channels and are loading about 50,000  videos  per week.
